You may have noticed that our lovely clock tower at Lowman Green has stopped at exactly 12 o’clock……!
Our clock tower is certainly unique and was built just for our Town, this means that when we need repairs completing they can take that little bit longer. The original clock maker - Smith of Derby have taken away a faulty part which has been causing the clock to lose time. A new part needs to be specially manufactured at their workshop in Derby to rectify the issue. We don’t currently have a timescale on how long this will take, but ask you to bear with us - we hope the clock will be back up and running very soon……!
